Cross Cultural Trainer & Meditation Mentor
Zona is an educator who has spent 13+ years training hundreds of individuals and teams with diverse backgrounds, ranging from university to doctoral level students, various founders of startups to directors in international companies and organizations.
From adjusting communication styles to leveraging team’s strengths, she helps clients overcome cross cultural communication barriers, improve team dynamics and develop next generation leaders.
She co-founded one of the first coworking spaces in southern Taiwan with an appeal to global digital nomads. In a short 2.5 years, she conducted close to 500 workshops and events, helping entrepreneurs to collaborate as teams and overcome cultural challenges. Prior to this, she also co-founded the first intercultural, interdisciplinary crowd-learning community in Taipei, which facilitated a platform for local freelancers and expats to put their skills into practice and turn their passions into careers.
Zona holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University, with a minor in Chinese literature. She received her M.A. in Cultural Studies from National Central University. She has also received professional training to become a facilitator, coach and a certified meditation mentor. Currently, she’s integrating all her learnings to help individuals to deepen their understanding of their own emotions so as to better communicate with others and operate more effectively within different cultural contexts.
